OB54 archive: how to compare an older sensitivity setup

Historical context for the June 2026 update, with a practical way to evaluate an old preset.

What this archive covers

Garena published OB54 notes on 23 June 2026. Its anniversary section described Skill Boost and Weapon Awakening as event features. That context matters when reading an old settings recommendation: an event-specific combat experience should not be treated as a permanent rule for every later version. Source: official OB54 notes.

This archive does not certify a set of “OB54 headshot numbers.” It preserves the topic while replacing unsupported patch-specific sensitivity claims with a method for evaluating your own saved setup.

Identify the old setup

Find the screenshot or note you originally used. Write down the date, edition, slider maximum, HUD and aiming mode if you know them. Mark missing details as unknown. Do not fill in a device model or weapon from memory if you are unsure; that can make an old recommendation look more precise than it was.

If the old values already work comfortably, an update name alone is not a reason to replace them. Changes to a weapon, event or mode can affect an encounter without proving that your camera control needs adjustment.

Retest a saved preset in stages

  1. Save your current setup before trying the old values. Make sure every number fits the menu shown in your installed game.
  2. Start with a simple unscoped turn and stop. Check repeatability before adding firing or movement.
  3. Test one optic separately with the same weapon and attachment across attempts.
  4. Record repeated overshoots or undershoots. If results are mixed, keep investigating the gesture or session consistency.
  5. Change one relevant slider by a small amount and compare again, including a return to the original value.

Separate patch facts from interpretation

A patch note can tell you that a mechanic changed. It does not automatically tell you the correct sensitivity for your phone. When a guide recommends a number, look for its method, assumptions and actual test conditions. A list of weapons beside a table is not evidence that the table was measured on those weapons.

Use the headshot routine for the full comparison procedure and the practice log for your own observations. News on this site links to official announcements; our practice suggestions are labelled separately from reported facts.
