DPI and drag speed
Free Fire DPI sensitivity guide
DPI changes how far your crosshair moves for the same finger drag. Higher DPI can make headshot drags faster, but it can also make Red Dot and 4x aim shaky if sensitivity is too high.
How DPI changes sensitivity
| DPI type | Best for | Sensitivity adjustment |
|---|---|---|
| Low or default DPI | Stable aim and beginners | Use slightly higher General and Red Dot. |
| Medium DPI | Balanced drag and scope control | Use normal generated settings. |
| High DPI | Fast drag headshots | Lower Red Dot, 2x, and 4x if aim overshoots. |
Signs your DPI and sensitivity do not match
If your aim jumps above the head, high DPI plus high Red Dot is likely too fast. If aim stops at the chest, your sensitivity is too low for your thumb speed. Adjust one setting at a time and test the same weapon repeatedly.
